Advanced recycling of sawmill residues (sawdust) with output production of Cell Water, wood pellets and essential oils of Siberian Pine, Siberian Larch and Siberian Spruce

Project Participants

The project has been realizing by three Russian companies – TAZA LES LLC, Russkiy Dom LLC and Witeks LLC.

TAZA LES LLC and Russkiy Dom LLC are responsible for supplying and advanced recycling of the raw material, as well as for selling the final products.

Both companies have allocated timber supply area. The total volume of the round timber is 50,000 m3. The companies also have own production area which is produced sawn timber and blockhouses made of shaped halved timber.

Witeks LLC is responsible for producing and supplying the equipment, as well as for its maintenance in the working process.

Technology

The project is based on applying vacuum-impulsive reactor, which in turns is constructed with the use of vacuum-impulsive technology. This technology was invented and has been developing in Russia.

The cell sap of fir needles is obtained by a careful technology of carbon dioxide extraction (CO2 extraction). Owing to this technology all the nutrients that exist in the plant are preserved in an unchangeable form and in the same ratio.

Other expenses – 43,700 USD;

Opportunities and Market Demand

Market demand for natural cellular water grows from year to year. Cell Water made of Siberian coniferous trees (Siberian Fir, Siberian Spruce, Siberian Larch, Siberian Pine and Siberian Cedar) has a strong tonic, anti-sclerotic, cancer preventive, antioxidant, and immunostimulative action. It normalizes metabolic processes and enriches the body with healthy micro- and macroelements.

Market demand for wood pellets is soaring significantly, which guarantees steady sales. We have the provisional arrangements for the sales of the products with Russian companies and a Chinese company. It should be emphasized that the Chinese market demand is extremely huge.

Market demand for essential oils of Siberian Pine, Siberian Larch and Siberian Spruce is really high both in Russia and in the world. The essential oils obtained by vacuum-impulsive technology are highly concentrated and pure, and of premium quality. Their composition is much richer than of those essential oils obtained with steam distilled method.

 

Projected Revenue

 

Cell Water: 100,000 litres х 3 USD = 300,000 USD;

Wood pellets: 200 tonnes / month х 74 USD = 14,800 USD;

 

Total: 314,800 USD

The prices and volumes given above are minimal. There are indicators that the figures will be much higher.

The prices for Cell Water and wood pellets have been calculated with only Russian business contracts, taken into consideration. When selling the production for export, the sum of the revenue will be much higher.

Fixed Expenses

 

Wage expenditure per month: 11,700 USD;

Miscellaneous expenses (power supply, etc.): 4,600 USD.

Payback period for the project will have been 2 months since the production start-up, which allows to return the investment 1 year later.

Composition of Cellular Water

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid), Carotene, Flavonoids, Phenolic Acids, Maltol, Macro- and Microelements (Ferrum, Sodium, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium and Manganese).

Maltol is one of the most powerful natural antioxidants. The cellular water, obtained from Siberian Fir needles, contains Maltol along with Ferrum which provides the best absorption for Maltol in a human organism. In pharmacological properties Maltol is similar to the effect of Dihydroquercetin (Taxifolin).

Historical Remarks

Siberian Fir has been known for its healing properties since ancient times. In XVII century it was used as a cure for scurvy and avitaminosis which usually refer to a long-term deficiency of vitamins. Then, Robert Koch, celebrated German physician and pioneering microbiologist, discovered the tubercle bacillus and found out that the essential oil of Siberian Fir has antibacterial properties with regard to spores in anthrax bacteria that could remain dormant under specific conditions. A prominent Russian scientist, medical doctor and famous surgeon of the XIX century Nikolay Pirogov used balsamic substance of fir needles as his most favorite medication for healing wounds due to the powerful anti-inflammatory and disinfection effect of Siberian Fir.

Scientists call this tree “the main secret of the famous Siberian health and real natural vitamin storage”.
