There are developed technologies of arcuated multiple purpose structures of distinctive architecture in the form of male molds are developed (5 patents). ). These technologies are checked on the models. The test construction based on the one of them is carried out. Then it is cured to get the concrete demolding density. The developed methods are characterized by high rate of execution of construction works, low consumption of building materials (spatial stability of structure is achieved at the thickness of construction layer of 50-150mm and elementary bar discharge 3-10kg/m3) low labor intensity and construction cost (elementary base cost is 60-120).
The project goal is the establishment the business or joint venture constructing the arcuated multiple purpose structures.
The construction technologies of arcuated multiple purpose structures of distinctive architecture in the form of male molds are developed (5 patents). These technologies are checked on the models. The test construction based on the one of them is carried out. For that purpose the construction project drawings and specifications were developed; produced the pneumatic shuttering (Fig.1); obtained equipment on the automobile trailer; assembled the compression plant (Fig.2). There were spread the pneumatic shuttering shell (Fig.3). On the shell there was installed the rebar cage of base layer course (Fig.4), in terms of which the concrete was set and compacted (Fig.5).The concrete surface was covered with the rest of shell’s canvas and membrane (Fig.6).On the surface of base layer was placed the rebar cage of building finishing /top layer, in which the concrete was set and compacted (Fig.7). The surface of upper layer was covered with the membrane. The molding time of pneumatic building structure at base level (Fig.8) is 3 hours. Then, the pneumatic shuttering shell was air-driven by fan of compression plant and there was provided the overpressure 300kg/m3. Due to the filling the air the pneumatic shuttering shells, the construction was unrolling (Fig.9), but unhardened coarse layers become bent. Finally, the shell is running and the construction obtains the final permanent position (Fig.10). The erection of structure in the final permanent position was carried out for half an hour/30min. At this position, the framework will be curing to achieve the concrete demolding density, and then, the pneumatic shuttering will be demounted for the reuses. The efficiency of off-the-shelf technology is confirmed by development works.
Besides that, the technology of structure formation, whose face shells are pieced together of prefabricated building panels, is developed (Fig.11, 12). Such construction method allows forming the arched structure, as well as angular domes. There is also developed the construction method allowing the forming of structures of different intricate shapes and plenty large enough dimensions.
The benefits of this developed technology are:
High rate of execution of construction works (pneumatic structure at base level is formed for 2-7 hours, but it’s installation in the design position is carried out for 15-30min.);
Low consumption of building materials (spatial stability of structure is achieved at the thickness of construction layer of 50-150mm and elementary bar discharge 3-10kg/m3);
Low intensity of construction works;
Low labor cost of construction works (elementary base cost is $ 60-120 square meter);
Minor capital investments in the construction site equipment and construction machinery.
To run the business constructing a project of nonlinear structures by use of pneumatic shuttering, it is necessary to invest the sum in the amount of $ 400.000.
Low labor cost of construction works and small construction duration, variety of created forms of distinctive architecture and perfect structural performance of buildings will allow tapping the market of construction services without any problems.
In this project there may be a little risk characteristic at the initial stage, at completion of development work of pneumatic construction method. This is because the development activities have been carried out at present and it confirmed the worked out method of construction efficiency.
